About Us.

Maluli Consulting was founded to help marginalized folxs from all backgrounds, build generational, community and knowledge wealth.

Historically, financial services have been gatekept and discriminatory. Here at Maluli Consulting, we provide accessible financial services. Sliding scale fee’s are always available because we don’t want anyone to go without financial help, simply because they cannot afford it.

As a group of first-gen QTBIPOC, we understand the deeply personal nature of finances. As such, we create a safe space where we can approach finances gently. A space where your values and feelings are the center of our financial services.

Because we are here for you, each service is personalized to your specific needs, wants and lifestyle. There is no one way to do anything, and finances are no different.

Edith Venzor, Founder

As a queer and gender queer latinx, child of immigrants I hadn’t found a lot of consultant firms that knew about the nuances of my identity, so, naturally, I decided to create one!

I am a Certified Enrolled Agent, have my BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, my SIE, Series 7 and am working on my C.P.A License.

When I started working in the business and finance industry I saw first hand the huge gap in knowledge and resources available to immigrants and QTBIPOC. It was sickening. However, I did learn how to use the rules to help create personal wealth and access to marginalized individuals!

When I’m not studying new laws, tax changes or the stock market, you can find me trying to add stamps to my passport or lost somewhere in nature. I love learning new skills and quite enjoy art! I am into painting, jewelry making, mixed media art and candle making.

My biggest accomplishment, so far, is being a parent to the Cutest Corgi Lab mix!

Donna Soutar, Accountant Assistant

Hello, I'm Donna, and I am a little different than your average accounting assistant. As a queer, mixed, alternative woman in a sea of suits, I knew carving my own way in the field would be difficult but tremendously worth it. When I learned about how Maluli Consulting was designed to help immigrants and QTBIPOC, I was eager to join the team because I knew it would feel just like home. And I was right!

Years ago, I completed my undergraduate studies at San Francisco State University and subsequently California State University of San Bernardino for my accounting certificate. For the time being, I want to learn as much as I can on the job and then decide what my next move will be.

I spend my free time hanging out with my articulate little child and working on my (many) hobbies. I paint nails, sing, knit, weave, basically anything that seems interesting to me. I will always have dreams of being a serious artist or rockstar, and I have yet to give those up completely. Who knows? Maybe I'll do it all!
